Using RegCure

Listed under the Setting tab are options to run the general, default settings of RegCure, or for it to begin the registry cleaning process once it completes the scan. You can also choose whether you want RegCure to download its updates automatically in this section. You also have the ability to set up the schedule for scans in the Setting area. This allows you to have a clean registry without doing anything about it. Just set it and forget it.

With the backup feature of RegCure, you can restore your computer’s registry to a previous date. Registry setting here will allow you to revert back to any state you need to, so you don’t have to worry about deleting anything important.

The Manage Startup Tab allows you to choose which programs you want to automatically begin when your computer is booted up. You can select to disable or enable all programs, or just choose specific programs you wish to run at startup.

The Results screen will display the results of each scan that RegCure performs. It will show you each registry item, and any error it found associated to a certain item. It will also tell you how many items it was able to repair, as well as how many it ignored, if you were cleaning it manually.
